and Id made a few mistakes,
some of witch were big ones
much to hard to take,
So let me tell you of my life
From sixteen to forty two,
and make confusion disappear
all these words are true,
long ago my heart was free
and loved flowed like a river,
and lost my loves through drowning
this i could never figure,
I surrounded my broken heart
by the strenth of a wall,
its hard and strong never to be climbed
its wide thick and tall,
Its there to protect its host
Keeping it safe and unbroken,
but makes me cold and lonely
angry and unspoken,
But you have made a hole with your love
and you've loved persistently,
with patience care and dedication
all this just for me,
Now the cracks are beginning to show
I will help and push within,
then reach out for me with your hand
and feel the warmth beneath my skin,
This fire is for you my love
a gift to fix your heart,
I hope its not too late
and completely fallen apart,
Ill make the hole much bigger
make the shadows go away,
then shine my love upon you
each and every day,
Your heart will then begin to mend
and mine will never tire,
its job will never be done
until you get what you desire,
You deserve much more happiness
than i have ever given,
but now i see all my wrongs
I want to give you heaven,
But compared to the goodness
mistakes are but few,
its the size thats the difference
its no wonder i lost you,
And although im feeling desperate
lost and all alone,
it nothing compared to how you feel
that, I could never know,
So now I must wait
till time takes it cores,
and hope that you still love me
only then can show you my remorse.
