A female friend of mine that we are both working in trade fair was coming to work one day and a car stop and ask her are u going to under bridge so she enter the car thinking the man may know her,inside the car a two other men was there even a white man so they told her she should not tell anybody that she saw the white man because Nigerians do kill a white people and they told her she should drink one water in form of oath that ll bring death if she speak to anybody,so she didn't tell anybody even her parent until last week Thursday her boss sent her to pay 1million naira to the bank,

while she was in the bank they called her to come to a particular place not knowing she was charm,so she collected a nylon bag and went out of the bank and gave them the money with her phone ,before she could realize what happen they av taken everything from her and gave her #300 Naira transport from ikotun down to lagos,now her boss say she must pay the money.

The other day i shared with you how they scammed my mum of 3k credit, if you missed read HERE.

A Friend Emailed this to me how they wanted to scam his father of 1million naira He Nearly felled to the format if not Gods Intervention and fearless kid.

Below is how it went:

One Man called my mum one night and was speaking in a low tone, like he is trying to reveal a secret.
he started like this: Are you mrs (my mums full names), you are a staff in UNTH. Someone has been sent to assassinate you, (my mum started shivery in fear). and i have information of who that person is, if you wish to know call me back with this number. phone hang up.

Who wants to die? my mum filled with fear, rushed and bought credit and called the idiot scammer back. and he continued. madam you should stop panicking and thank God i have this information about the person who wants to kill you... Anxious mother can't wait and ask, who is this person, the scammer said. ok will reveal the person and still tell you how you to catch them, but you must pay me some money for the information i want to give or you wait and get assassinated . My mum asked How much, he said 1million,  my mum shout one million? he said shut up woman, its 1million what more than your life?

My mum has even started running around on how to get the cash, Until she told my elder brother who took her phone and called the scammer back.
My brother was like, we have the money how do we bring it to you, He said give the woman that owns the phone her phone let me give her directions on how to bring the money, my older brother insisted on him to deal with him.

when the scam sensed that there is no fear in my brothers tone, he hong the call and switch of the phone... and that it, we didnt hear from him any longer

Hello Nigerians, we decided to create this page and #tag #Don'tGetScammed because There are too many local scam reports in Nigeria now.(Retweet) we thought  if we can share with you the format or how they operate, then you can detect scammers when you become their pray. Phone call scams has become the other of day. every guy men as they will call themselves wants to travel to village with a new car to show off, so they have to make the money by taking from the poor victims. The effective scam currently is phone call scams.

Experience shared by my mum.

Her rang one good afternoon,
the conversation went like this...

scamer: Hello
Mum: hello, who is this?
Scamer: its Me pastor please call me back now now.
Mum: Ok.
phone hang up.
 ring ring ring mum call back the number

Scammer answers Hello Mummy how are you
Mum: am fine pastor (not knowing which PASTOR is it)
Scammer: how is your family
Mum: fine, which pastor is this?
Scammer: don't you recognize my voice again? its me pastor now
Mum: oooooooook Pastor Seye (mum guessed using the voice)
Scammer: Yes yes its me.
Mum: but this is not your Number that i have
Scammer: Yes delete that number that you have i don't use it again (FORMAT THEY USED TO MAKE U NOT TO CALL THE PERON THEY PRETEND TO BE)
Mum : wow pastor its been long i heard from you ooooo since you left Enugu
Scammer: yes, am sorry,
Scammer: Mummy i need your help now now
Mum: what is it
scammer: pls am stranded somewhere, i want you to send 3000 credit. please
Mum: Hope everything is good.
scammer: Yes yes
Mum: ok let me send it to you now (mum good woman)

Now thats it... how they knew my mum is church freak, i don't know.
how they got her number, i don't know either,

But one thing is sure, Nigerian companies that make you feed them your personal and contact details do not protect your details. dont be suprice if they even call you by ur name.
