How to check your bank account balance from your phone..

REQUIREMENTS

A mobile phone that can send sms.. be it Nokia 3310 or blackberry 1million. So far the phone can send SMS (text message) you are good to go.

Any mobile network you are subscribed to is good, be it GLO, MTN, AIRTEL , ETISALAT etc

STEPS:

Click on your phone menu, locate massages- click to open, click on write new message then type in this format

BAL <YOUR 10 DIGITS ACCOUNT NUMBER> SEND TO 08076665555

BAL 015*******  SENT IT TO 08076665555

LET me explain the syntax for slow understanding ones. Type BAL (must be in capital letters) the single space <type in your account number> click send and put recipient number as 08076665555

Wait a few seconds your account balance will be sent to you on your phone .

The SMS will cost you 4 naira as normal SMS, I guess you are not that stingy to save yourself of that stress of going to que at the ATM just to check balance lol..
