How To Put Latest Post Widget/gadget On blogger

Unlike, wordpress, that has plugin for everything, blogger dose not have such feature, but dose not make blogger a bad platform.

when someone opens a single post on your blog, to keep the person navigating round your blog, it will be fine to have the most recent post from  your blog being shown somewhere beside the blog post, so that it can easily catch the blog visitors eye and he may want to check it out.

HOW TO SHOW THE LATEST POST ON YOUR BLOG

Firstly you will have to go to feedburner to generate the code that will do the magic for you. (Click HERE to learn how to do that)

AFTER GENERATING THE CODE

Open your blogger dashboard>click on layout>click add gadget>select HTML/Java script>past the code from feed burnner in the box>click save>then save arrangement >view the blog and see the latest feeds come live.

FOLLOW THE PICTURE TUTORIALS BELOW

From your dash board, when u click on layout, this window should open,

Depending on where you want the most resent post to appear, click on Add a Gadget

SCROLL DOWN TO SEE HTML/JAVA SCRIPT, CLICK THE + TO ADD

When you click on that add gadget, a pop window will appear (see pic above) click on the +sign to add the gadget and past the code generated from the feedburnner

paste the code here and click save

After saving, the pop window will close, then click save arrangement and view your blog to see impact.

HOW TO SHOW THE CODE BELOW AFTER EACH POST

At your compose window, after writing your post, click enter like 3 times to give some space then click on HTML above beside COMPOSE> past the generated code from feedburner the publish your post , after that, veiw the post and smile. Yes! it worked.
