Which is, um, precise.
 


So, yeah, you might have to hurry through the main, skip the cheesecake and head straight for dessert.

The enlightening survey also revealed that New York is the most desperate city. 45 per cent of New Yorkers who are currently dating described themselves as ‘sad and single’. N’aww.

On the other hand, Sydney singletons (Sydnons?) were the happiest – 31 per cent said they were ‘proud and single’.

Meanwhile, the worst thing about dating in New Orleans, according to locals who took part was that ‘everyone is drunk’. The best thing? ‘Everyone is drunk’.
Finally, the survey answered that tricky question of how many dates you need to go on before you can change your relationship status on Facebook. It’s nine dates, according to the poll.
