New images with the Moto G 2015 mobile phone, leaked

 Anonymous     18:30:00     Tech360     No comments

As August is getting closer, we’re looking forward to seeing a couple of new Motorola handsets. Of course, it’s obvious that two of them will be the upcoming Moto G 2015 and Moto X 2015, the manufacturer’s upper mid-range and top models.

Could this be the real deal?

While the latter is still an unsolved mystery, as we don’t have all the details about it, we can’t say the same thing about the Moto G 2015. French site Nowhereelse revealed a full set of press renders with the handset, allowing us to see what we can expect.

Motorola Moto G 2015

Overall, it sports the same design we’ve seen in previous leaks and it seems that this is the new line used by all Motorola handsets. On the other side, there aren’t many changes, compared with previous models, but we must admit that the phone looks good, even though we’re not necessarily impressed. Still, we’re looking forward to seeing an image with the actual device, as we don’t know if the band surrounding the phone is metal or just plastic, with a nice texture.

It’s all good, except the storage

Spec-wise, the Moto G 2015 will be powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU, with 1 GB of RAM. The internal storage will count 8 GB, which is a bit low for today’s standards, but users will be able to expand it, using a 32 GB microSD card slot.
The display will measure 5 inches and will sport a 720p resolution.
As for the camera, the Moto G 2015 will come with a 13 MP snapper, able to shoot 1080p videos. Also, on the front, a 5 MP sensor will be in charge with taking selfies.
Finally, Android 5.0 Lollipop is the operating system of choice, almost close to stock, as most of Motorola’s latest handsets.
Nothing about the price for the moment, but we expect it to feature an affordable price tag. The specific launch date is also unknown.
