Last week, Forbes reported that new iPhone 6s photos "confirm Apple's design decision." According to the online publication, the leaked images are from Nowhereelse.fr, a French site that supposedly obtained accurate photos of iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 before they were released.
The leaked image is said to be the front panel of iPhone 6s. The device is rumored to feature almost the same design as the latest models iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. 6s will reportedly have a 4.7-inch display, a Touch ID home button and an aluminum alloy frame that's better than in the previous models to prevent the "bendgate" scandal from happening again. The camera of the said upcoming iPhone will also be improved so it could keep up with its rivals, particularly Samsung.
Meanwhile, more recently, supposed leaked images of the iPhone 7 surfaced on social media, and BGR reported the possibility of it incorporating wireless technology by Qualcomm. So far, no iPhone models have yet incorporated the said technology, and the site claims it's because of the iPhone's metal cases, which apparently interfere with wireless charging pads.

However, BR claims that Qualcomm has discovered a way to wirelessly charge devices made of metals. "Today, WiPower has added the ability to have the device itself made of metal. This advancement maintains WiPower's existing ability to charge devices requiring up to 22 watts today, at speeds equal to or faster when compared to other wireless charging technologies," Qualcomm wrote, as quoted by the aforementioned site.
Other rumored features and specs of the iPhone 7 include the latest iOS 9, faster processor and improved battery life. Various reports also claim that a rose gold variant of the iPhone will be available. The rumored release date for the new iPhone product line is September 18.
