We want to know the best between this two mobile phone giants, according to Neurogadget the Galaxy Note 5 was finally unveiled, and, as expected, the design is very similar to that of the Galaxy S6. It has an identical processor and the camera has the same resolutions. Anyway, we’ll compare it to Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus, the first iPhone phablet with a 5.5inches screen.
Designs
The previous Note 4 didn’t have an outstanding design, as it featured a polycarbonate cover with faux leather pattern, which had no chance to stack up against the bigger iPhone 6, which came with a better build quality. The iPhone 6 Plus has an aluminum uni-body design, it’s very thin at 7.1mm and has the volume rocker on the left side, while the power button was placed on the right side. The phone has a fingerprint sensor hidden inside the rounded home button and the rear camera has protruding lens.
The Galaxy Note 5 looks like a larger Galaxy S6, featuring a glass back with a metallic frame running around the edges, but it has its physical buttons placed in the same locations as the iPhone 6 Plus. The back is a bit curved on the right and left sides and on the bottom left, you can see the dock where the S Pen stylus is introduced. The Note 5 has a thickness of 7.6mm, but it’s slightly shorter at 153.2mm compared to 158.1mm. Of course, the phone has a fingerprint scanner that was integrated into the oval home button.
Displays
The screen of the Note 5 is larger at 5.7inches, it uses Super AMOLED technology and it supports QHD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at 518 ppi. The iPhone 6 Plus sports a LED-backlit IPS LCD screen sized at 5.5inches, which produces less vibrant colors (they look more natural). The resolution is Full HD of 1080 x 1920 pixels at 401 ppi.

Hardware
The previous Note 4 was powerful, but it couldn’t beat the iPhone 6 Plus, which was equipped with a dual core Cyclone processor clocked at 1.4GHz, which was placed on the Apple A8 chipset and was paired with PowerVR GX6450 graphics and 1GB of RAM.
Then, Samsung focused more on its proprietary chipset and improved its performance. The Galaxy S6 made a very good impression with the Exynos 7420 octa core processor consisting of a quad-core 1.5GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and quad-core 2.1GHz Cortex-A57 CPU, which were paired with Mali-T760MP8 graphics and 3GB of RAM. The Note 5 is even faster with 4GB of RAM and all benchmarks demonstrated that the Exynos 7420 processor delivers a better performance than the A8 processor from the iPhone 6 Plus.
However, none of these phones support a microSD card slot, and there are three storage options for each phablet: 32/64/128 GB (Note 5) and 16/64/128 GB (iPhone 6 Plus).
Batteries
The Note 5 has a smaller battery than its predecessor, having a capacity of 3000 mAh, but it’s still bigger than the 2915 mAh battery from the iPhone 6 Plus.
Cameras
The Note 5 has the same cameras as the Galaxy S6: 16MP on the back with optical image stabilization and f/1.9 aperture, plus a 5MP front camera with the same aperture. The iPhone 6 Plus, on the other hand, came with the usual 8MP back camera with f/2.2 aperture and received OIS. The front camera remained at 1.2MP and it doesn’t produce the best selfies.
