Once pictures of a phone keeps coming out this way, just know that the release is close.
The BlackBerry Venice is appearing on camera more and more as the weeks go by. This new picture appeared first on the CrackBerry forums, and shows the Venice with its virtual keyboard. While this device obviously has a hardware keyboard that slides out, when it’s closed, the phone can also use a virtual keyboard for input, which is what we’re seeing here.
This specific software keyboard definitely looks like the BlackBerry 10 keyboard, but as Bla1ze notes in his post, the back button does seem to indicate this keyboard is running on an Android OS, and not BB10.
Take this however you choose, but with more and more indications of an Android-powered BlackBerry Venice device showing up, it looks like it’s only a matter of time before BlackBerry finally announces it officially.
Rumors are still pointing at a fall unveil, so I wouldn’t be holding my breath for this announcement just yet.
