We’re still waiting for Microsoft to release a new Windows 10 smartphone. Plenty of rumors have popped up in the past month, but a new leak may reveal plans for a powerful phone codenamed “Project Juggernaut Alpha.”
According to WMPowerUser, the device will sport a Quad HD 5.5-inch display, a 64-bit Intel Atom chip, a 21-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel wide-angle shooter in front. You’ll also get either 3 or 4GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage with microSD, USB-C, wireless charging and a Surface Pen. It runs Windows 10 and sports a unibody metal design.
Microsoft is still testing the device, which will allegedly be called the Surface Mobile once it finally hits the market. WMPowerUser also notes that these specs are subject to change, though we hope the new phone sticks pretty close to the hardware listed above.
Based on previous leaks we’re expecting Microsoft to release two new phones codenamed Cityman and Talkman. It’s unclear how this new Surface Mobile fits into that lineup, but it seems pretty clear the company has something in its pipeline
