Have a cave experience
The Ogbunike cave is the most popular tourist destination in Anambra state.
The cave is made up of tunnels, and streams. According to history, the
tunnels served as a safe-haven for people escaping from the slave
traders. For visitors, you are not allowed into the cave with your shoes

Remember to bring a torch, light raincoat and some cash as you may pay a token to have access to the caves.
Trip the Igboukwu Museum
The Igbo Ukwu museum is the hub that holds priceless archaeological artifacts excavated as far as the 10th century.
These bronze artifacts include jewellery, ceramics, ram heads and
staff. It reveals the early occupation of the people, which was
predominantly metal works and was founded in 1989.
Celebrate with Ijele
The
Ijele masquerade is the king of all masquerades and is one of the
largest mask contraptions in the world. At 4 metres tall, it usually
performs alone hence, extensive preparations are done to ensure that the
festival is celebrated without any hitches.
The
intensity of the preparation sees 100 men work on costumes for six
months. It is divided into two parts – with the upper and lower sections
separated by a python. It is amazing to watch and a must see for
tourists.
See the Crocodile Lake
The
Crocodile Lake called Agulu is home to hundreds of crocodiles and water
turtles. During the day especially during sunlight, the crocodiles and
turtles find their way to the bank of the lake in order to feel the
warmth of the sun. It is a nice place to have picnic.
