Math Dolce real name “Matthew Onuoha” hails from Mbaise, Imo State (An eastern part Of Nigeria).
The Afro pop , Highlife and a fusion of reggae act is a graduate of music and theatre arts at the University of Padolva, Italy.
His sound is greatly influenced by renowned musicians like Bob Marley, Buju Banton, Sean Paul, Popkan, Busy Signal, Vybkatel to mention a few; and he loves listening to the golden age of highlife tunes of Dr sir Warrior, chief Osita Osadebe, sir Victor Uwaifo etc all perfectionist at their crafts and this has positively reflected on his sound.
He is a believer of infusing the African sounds and melodies into
the fast evolving music scope of these days and thus shows his affinity
for Africa’s leading and reputable acts such as 2face idibia, ASA, Fally Ipupa, Marian Makeba, Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti and Flavour.
