WhatsApp releases massive iOS upgrade for iphone, now backs up your videos

iPhone users have a lot reason to smile. WhatsApp for iOS just caught up with WhatsApp for Android. The new update -- version 2.12.5, is now available in the App Store and brings a bunch of new features to the popular messaging app.

Here are some of the highlights:

- You can now include videos in chat backups.

- You can flick a switch in WhatsApp settings to force voice calls through WhatsApp to use less data (yay!).
- You can now mark chats as read or unread with a swipe to the right.
- If you want to scroll up to see your chat history, it now loads automatically without you having to constantly hit the 'Load Earlier Messages' button - nice!
