Microsoft stated in its blog to reveal what it's calling "camera magic" in the recently launched Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
Both handsets boast 20MP rear sensors with fifth generation OIS (optical image stabilisation) and a triple-LED natural flash, with Microsoft claiming they sport its "most advanced smartphone imaging hardware and software".
Microsoft has posted a series of example images from the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL camera on its blog, highlighting the natural colours and lack of noise in the shots.
When the lights go out
The post also waxes lyrical about the camera's low light capabilities with the upgraded OIS and larger aperture size allowing the Lumias to suck in a lot of light.Needless to say, we're pretty excited to get our hands on the new Lumias and see if they can really live up to the Redmond hype.
In the past the likes of the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 930 have provided great camera performance, and we hope that continues on the new handsets.
