Coaches
are an integral part of football. They are the ones that dish out the
techniques and style of a team and the duty of each player is to duly
implement the pattern of the gaffer. Which is why the coach is held
accountable whether a team wins or loses.

Sunday Oliseh- Guardiola of Africa
He
is the current Super Eagles coach and ex-player with the Super Eagles.
His crisp, eloquent and knowledgeable analysis of football won him the
job of coaching Nigeria’s national team in spite of his inexperience. In
fact, when he was presented at a press conference, Amaju Pinnick,
Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) described him as the Guardiola of Africa. He is from Abavo, Delta state and was born 14 September 1974.
Michael Emenalo
Popular
with Chelsea fans in Nigeria, Michael Kelvin Emenalo came to limelight
when he joined Chelsea in 2007 when Avram Grant was appointed coach of
Chelsea. Born on 4th July,
1965, He is one of the few international coaches from Nigeria. in the
near future, he expected to become the coach Chelsea owing to his close
relationship with Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich.
Stephen Keshi
On the 10th of February 2013, Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso by a lone goal scored by Sunday
Uba at the African Nation’s Cup. The man on the touchline who was
Stephen Keshi, who was praised to high heavens for restoring the pride
of Nigerian football.
Shaibu Amodu
This Edo born tactician has had 3 different spells as the coach of the National team. From 1998 to 1999, 2001 to 2002 and 2008 till 2010.
He is currently the technical director of the Nigerian Football
Federation. Amodu won a bronze medal at the African Nation’s cup in Mali
(2002) and Angola (2010). He was born on 18 April 1958.
Christian Chukwu Chairman
Christian
Chukwu was the former captain of the Super Eagles and coach of Nigeria
between 2003 and 2005. He was fondly called Chairman Christian Chukwu by
his admirers and aside from Nigeria, he has also coached the Kenyan
National team in 1998 and Enugu Rangers during the 2008/2009 season.
